China Resources Comprehensive Utilization wall material enterprises donate advanced wall material equipments to Sichuan Earthquakes-Stricken Areas

In the morning May 31^st, under the great support from National Development and Reform Commission, organized by China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization and wall material reform commission, together with six enterprises, the meeting with theme of ''Everyone is responsible for Earthquake relief, Wall material goes ahead the rebuild the house'' donated advanced wall material equipment to Sichuan Earthquakes-Stricken Areas. Xie Zhenhua, Vice director of National Development and Reform Commission, Xiao Yaqing, president of China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization, Policy Research Center of State Asset Supervision and Administration Commission, Civil administration of Ministry of Civil Affairs, Arable Land Protection Department of Ministry of Land and Resources, township enterprises bureau of Ministry of Agriculture, Sichuan Economic Committee, China Commission of brick-tile industry and other relevant department of the state as well as leader from commissions in our industry has attended this meeting. Leaders from provincial wall material innovation offices and representatives from about 200 enterprises also attended the donation ceremony. Ever since Wenchuan of Sichuan province suffered the great earthquake on May 12^th, governments across the country, enterprises and people of all nationalities have being making donations to help the stricken region come over the disaster. With the further in-depth relief, it is urgent to rebuild house and return life to normal in the stricken area. Facing the unexpected catastrophes, many wall material enterprises express their intention to donate the constructional materials, wall material equipments and transitional houses. Coordinating by National Development and Reform Commission and relevant departments of Sichuan province, it is decided to donate a batch of wall material equipments to guarantee the reconstruction after earthquake.  

  To ensure the performance and quality of the donated equipments, along with consideration of local condition of natural resource in Sichuan and practical situation of reconstruction, the National Development and Reform Commission finally chose Shuangyashan Oriental Wall Material Co., Ltd, Zhuoyue (Fujian) Building Machinery Co., Ltd, Nanjing Shuangyang Building Machinery Co., Ltd, Baoding Fangzheng Machinery Co., Ltd, Beijing Reit Technology Development Ltd, and Beijing Jianbang Weiye Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd as the first donating enterprises after related experts�� demonstration. These six enterprises have donated production lines of porous bricks, air bricks, concrete segments, building rubble sorting equipments and board materials with total value of more than 11,000,000 as well as annual production capacity of 700,000,000 standard bricks and 100,000 square meters board materials, which are in the lead in China, efficiently deal with the building waste produced by the falling of houses in the earthquake, and have great utility value for the reconstruction.

At the donation ceremony, Yang Zili , vice director from Economy Commission of Sichuan province, on behalf of Sichuan People's Government accepted the donation, and respectively issued the donation certificate. Soulfully, He said: though people in disaster area suffered the earthquake, with help and concern from all over the country, with support form governments and enterprises, we have the faith and resolution to overcome the difficulties, to rebuild house, and to return the normal life, there will be a brilliant future for them. These donated wall material lines can product a large number of constructional materials, which are the urgent need. On behalf of the Sichuan People's Government and people in stricken area, he expressed sincere gratitude to the six donating enterprises.

Chairman Xiao Yaqing said in his speech, reconstruction is a tough and time-limited work. Walks of life and relevant should have high sense of responsibility and mission, and devote themselves to help people suffered earthquake live a normal life as soon as possible. This donation is the practical action to help stricken area, and obtain great support from National Development and Reform Commission and Economy Commission of Sichuan Province. China Commission of Resources Comprehensive Utilization will cooperate with other relevant commissions to well make future work and devote the donation to stricken area.

Xie Zhenhua, Vice chief of National Development and Reform Commission, spoke highly of enterprises that involved in the reconstruction. Their action embodies the good morality of ''When disaster struck, help came from all sides''. He also said that National development and Reform Commission will support the enterprises participate the relief and hope China Commission of Resources Comprehensive Utilization help the donating enterprises to carry on the work of installing equipment and organizing production.

Wall material reform commission of China Commission of Resources Comprehensive Utilization was announced to be established in the donation ceremony. Sheng meixin form National Building Material Exhibition and Trade Center express the resolution to unite everyone to devote to the earthquake stricken area. As the exhibition and display unit, National Building Material Exhibition and Trade Center should publicize the wall material reform policy actively; well host the China international wall material exhibition and make contributions to the undertakings of China's wall material reform.
