According to the related department's introduction, the new edition will revise the part of code on wood structure buildings fire protection and prevention, which was limited to 3 layers wood structure buildings in the edition of the year of 2006. In the revised edition, it is allowed to be built to 7 layers of wood mixed structure buildings. That is to say, it is allowed to mix the wood structure with concrete structure and to create a high-layer building in accordance with the new fire protection and prevention standard.

The new edition will be issued at the end of this year.
